CNC leggings with pockets and sports bra

The issues I usually have with finding workout leggings (or leggings of any kind), is for them to fit my hips but also be tight enough around the waist. I find a lot of leggings loosen over time and then I’m constantly pulling them up.

I randomly came across Presley Pritchard on Instagram, and started noticing a brand of fitness apparel that she wears. Turns out is was CNC Apparel so I started following them too, and saw women with similar proportions as me. What really drew me to CNC Apparel, was that while Presley was working out, everything stayed in place. I also like that the brand is female and veteran owned (even though I’m Canadian and they’re American).

I bought the Empowered Black -V1 leggings in a size large, and so far it fits very well. I also love whoever came up with pockets in these things, whoever they are, they are a genius! These leggings have two pockets, one on each side, that is perfect for my phone.

These leggings are also high-waisted (actually high-waisted not “high-waisted”), which I really need. They sit on my waist and hips perfectly and so far I haven’t had to pull them up once, even when doing squats (it’s a miracle!).

These leggings are also super soft and comfortable. Sometimes I find the placements of the seams can get uncomfortable in other leggings. I have a pair of leggings that has the seam behind the knee, and it’s a pain in the ass (figuratively not literally). The seam always starts to hurt after a while especially when doing exercises where my knees are bent. I can say with confidence that all seams on the CNC Apparel leggings are well placed and I don’t even notice them.

I don’t usually have too much trouble with sports bras, I find I tend to fit within conventional sizes.

When I saw their Resilient Sports Bra in black on their site I fell in love. I really like the band and back details and it’s still functional as a sports bra. I usually wear a 34C, so I bought a medium and it fits perfectly.

All-in-all I’m feeling really good about this purchase and will definitely be buying more from them in future. As a little bonus they also sent me a black and grey camo patterned headband which is nice touch.

Have you bought anything from CNC Apparel? How did you like it? Is there another brand that you recommend? Let me know in the comments!
