I got an email from Unique Vintage saying that their Halloween collection was in stock, so of course I went a little crazy. I bought four items and two of them are the same items in two different sizes. Here are my reviews!

I’ve bought this belt before from Unique Vintage and was immediately obsessed. I love my bats and a good belt for dresses so this item was perfect the first time I bought it. The only thing is, as time went on (it’s been about a year since I bought the first belt), the elastic started to stretch. I don’t think this is a quality issue. My size changes all the time as I gain and lose weight, so when I bought this belt in the S/M size I was at a low point in my weight, whereas as time went on I got bigger and smaller which stretched it out.

So this time around I bought the belt in both S/M and L/XL to anticipate my body changing. Which honestly doesn’t bother me because I already know I love the belt and I’ve worn it at least once a week for a year.

I highly recommend this belt as the perfect thing to goth-up your outfit!

I’ve wanted a wool hat like this for a while. My sister got one from H&M last fall and let me try hers. It was a really nice hat, but I have a small head (22″ around) so I knew I had to get one that wouldn’t fall down in front of my eyes all the time. The thing I love about the hat I bought is that even though it’s a “one size fits all,” it has an adjustable cord inside for people with small heads like me. And now I can be just as adorable in my black wool hat as my sister is.

I had my eye on this dress last Halloween because, as I’ve mentioned before, I love bats and this silhouette looks great on me. By the time I wanted to get the dress however they were out of my size and then out of stock entirely. So when I got the email this summer saying that the Halloween collection was back in stock AND THIS DRESS WAS IN THE EMAIL, I immediately bought it. And I have not been disappointed. It fits really well and I love the detail around the collar. It comes with a thin, black dress belt, which is super cute, and has a lot of stretch. I tend to have a lot of issues with dresses that have sleeves not fitting my biceps, which is why I put my bicep measurement above, but because this dress has stretch it fits my arms comfortably.

All in all I had great success with this order. I love that Unique Vintage has most items in regular and plus sizes and that many of the items are made for curvier girls.
